Catholic Men's Fellowship Group meets every Saturday at 7.30a.m in the CCD Class Room
The Goal:
Grow in holiness
Grow in love for God and our families
Become better servant leaders for our families, our church and society
Support one another in Christ
This is no small task, and it is not the responsibility of the group alone. For it is Christ who is our Savior and it is His Spirit who convicts us and leads us to repentance and ongoing conversion. The CMF group is simply one of many tools we can allow God to use to accomplish His purpose in our lives.
The Church gives us many other means that we Catholic men shoulc avail ourselves of, such as; regular participation in the sacraments, daily prayer, Scripture study, reading Catholic authors, and obedience to the theaching Magisterium of the Church. All of these things will help us become better Catholics.
A CMF group should provide an environment where trusting relationships can be built so that membes can grow to maturity in Christ (Eph. 4:13). A mature Christian man is one who is obedient to Christ, faithful to his duties and lives a moral life.
